Limited Edition Portfolio Woolings
My wall hanging "Woolings" are available as limited edition reproductions of my existing art portfolio. Reproductions must be of a wooling that has not reached the end of its limited edition run and will be made from the same chart (stitch number, colors, etc.) as the original. Changes can be made, but if a new chart must be drawn, the art work will be completed as an "original wooling" as stated below.
The price of each unframed portfolio wooling is listed by its large gallery image (Click gallery thumbnail). Prices do not include framing, shipping, insurance or any applicable taxes.

Payment can be made with PayPal, Money Order or Certified Check. The booking deposit is non-refundable. Original Woolings and Sweaters or Cardigans
I accept commissions for original wooling portraits and I can knit an art sweater or cardigan with your portrait commission on the back.
There is about four weeks of work in an average commission and I can work from a customer supplied photograph or I can meet you with my photographer for a photo session.
Woolings An original wooling price is not a set figure because a quote depends on many factors such as size, number of stitches, colors and complexity. As an example, the cost of an original wooling using a customer supplied photograph with four tonal colors, 22,400 stitches ( about 34" x 28" in worsted wool yarn ) and the same level complexity of "Beryl" (upper right photo) would be about $2000 USD.
Cardigans - Sweaters Art sweaters or cardigans are fully lined in sizes small, medium and large. Quotes begin at around $2200 USD. With proper care they can be worn and hand washed.
Contact me by email, letter or phone. We can work out the details to complete your commission to your satisfaction and delight. I do like to meet my clients in person, but if distance and time prevents that we can do it all by phone, email and post. After we fill out a commission agreement, a 50% booking deposit will be requested.

My chart design will be submitted to you for approval, and you will have an opportunity to make alterations or additions to the art work. Any changes involving additional work or material will be reflected in a revision to the booking deposit and price quote. On approval of the chart(s) and a second payment of 25% of the quote, I will hand knit your garment, or wooling. Woolings will be blocked on a foam board and material hand pinned into place, which you can then frame. I will notify you of the completion and we can either meet again or I can ship you Losch Designs art work to you after receiving the final quote balance. ( If you wish, I can have your wooling art framed before shipment.)
